HISTORY:
Aera knew from the time she heard her name that she was born to be a star, I mean, just say her full name out loud. It seemed like she was born onto a stage. Realizing her potential, she began practicing all sorts of music as soon as her hands were big enough to hold them. She practiced relentlessly and wrote songs relentlessly. However, even though they had practically given her a stage name instead of a real name, her parents didn't approve and wanted her to become a doctor. In rebellion, she ran away from home (though not away from Nashville, seeing as that's counter-productive for someone who wants to be a star). She got an apartment and started writing and writing and writing.
She worked for many years to hone her craft, and finally, at the age of 23, she scored a record deal with one of the biggest record labels in all of Nashville! Unfortunately, she was so excited that she swerved off the road and into a ditch, getting killed instantly.
She's only been dead for a couple of years now, and it still irritates her to no end. She's been wandering around, trying to figure out a way to attain the fame that should be rightfully hers, but being a ghost kind of throws a wrench into the plans. Maybe living through another will satisfy her.
PERSONALITY:
Aera used to be quite nice, though rather ambitious. She really thought of nothing else other than making it big, and had she made it, she probably would have actually enjoyed it. After all, she never wanted fame for the sake of fame, she wanted fame to be able to share her work. She was really outgoing and extroverted and enjoyed meeting new people and asking them to listen to her songs. Most of all, she was diligent, spending hours each day practicing everything she knew she needed to stand out among the music crowd.
However, after her death, she became sullen and depressed. She hates having to still live in this world without the possibility of her dreams coming true. She's sad most of the time, and vindictive other times. She's still not sure what she wants to do with her "life" and how she's going to ultimately achieve her goal.

3. Depressed: Dying does make you rather down, when she's not angry, she's contemplating suicide...which then makes her angrier again cause that's kind of not an option anymore.
4. Shallow: She judges people based on how they look and what they wear, based on what's acceptable in the music industry.
5. Rather uptight: This girl is not what you'd call laid-back, in fact, she's rather obsessive about everything all the time.

If you noticed, this girl is really upset that she died. What I'm thinking is she'll finally decide to start mentoring someone, but once they start getting successful with it, she will step in and try to take the glory away.
