The library was a sanctuary of the finest sorts. It had all sorts of wonderful books that were just... all bookish. He enjoyed the young adult area the most... then again being young probably did help with all that. The fiction here was wonderful... well mostly. This library was unfortunate enough to have Twilight. I mean who would honestly read that? The young male was just sitting there reading a novel. It was quite a good book too if he did say so himself. The cover was kind of bland but that didn't matter to him. The cover was only one thing.
The entire thing was peaceful and serene for a few minutes. Then everything changed... and in a very strange way! There was someone who, because he was sitting... maybe even if he wasn't being that Alex was short, pretty much towered over him. There was little to no time for the boy to react. He felt arms wrap around himself, flinching a little at the surprise touch. With all the shock he didn't respond, just stood there kind of gawking in a 'WTF' manner. I mean someone just came up and draped themselves upon him without warning! It took a minute to register on his face... A mix of shock and fear.
The other male went on about something... Before just leaving! I mean he literally left the library! How weird was that? This is such a weird school he had to admit. He sighed in relief and went back to his book.
Hopefully he could enjoy some peace for now. Then again he wasn't ever that lucky was he? When was anyone between 15 and 25 lucky? Well minus the luck gods kids but they don't count. Were there luck gods? It didn't really matter but it was an interesting thought. He'd have to look into it later.

Wesley still wasn't entirely sure why he was in the library. He wasn't the biggest reader, sure the odd book every now and then, Hunger Games and the like. But that was about it. And in this day and age most of his homework could be done on his laptop, except when the teacher's decided that the databases were underutilized and mandated that they all use them in their next research assignment. And he would admit he wasn't all that stoked about doing a sculpture research paper. He'd known these sort of reports were part of the high school curriculum, but he'd hoped they had moved beyond that point in college. And with this school being so—eccentric—in their teaching methods, he would have thought they'd be against this sort of thing. That's certainly what the teacher had implied at the beginning of the year, and yet here they were. The professor promised this would be a rare event, but like any of them believed him anymore.
He logged of the computer and stood up, he'd had enough searching for one day. As he passed a table though he saw something very strange. It was like one guy was giving the other guy a bear hug, only he didn't seam happy about it. Wesley jerked as though he were going to interfere, but nobody seemed to be harming anyone else. At least, not physically. He watched the guy leave with raised eyebrows, then turned back to the victim. It was always awkward to talk to random people in the library, but weirdness of what had just happened trumped that, he thought.
"So, any idea what that was all about?" He asked.
