HISTORY:
HISTORY EDITS: She was orphaned(abandoned) when she was three, but her parents were not related to Ashlyn's mom. She grew up not knowing what she was, and she blocked out the memories of her parents, so she forgot that she wasn't really their daughter. Her mother told her truth when she was seventeen, or at least what she knew, which was only that Elise was faerie and Rebecca had owed Elise's mom a favor, so when she had come requesting that Rebecca raise Elise as her own daughter she had agreed. It was only a few weeks after that Rebecca dissapeared, and though Elise will not admit it, she blames herself.
Her boyfriend was actually a vampire, though she didn't find that out until a couple of months after they'd started dating when he bit her. Vampires don't usually like faerie blood, but he had a special taste for it. So yes, she was a druggie, but sometimes she was also just low on blood.
Her boyfriend was out of town when she robbed that store, and when he came back and she was in prison, he dumped her.
When she went to go live with her mom she noticed there was something—different—about her stepfather. She still doesn't know what it is but she's pretty sure he's a supernatural of some kind.
NORMAL HISTORY:
For as long as she could remember she was dancing. It wasn't long before her parents realized she actually had talent and got her enrolled in classes.
She rose quickly, winning competition after competition. She learned to love attention in all it's forms, but especially craved it from her parents(or mother), even in the rebellious party-animal teenage years, she still needed their(her) approval.
The her mother left when she was 17, and everything spiraled downward. She didn't stop dancing, but her success fell a little bit. She needed someway to deal. It started with alcoholism and smoking, but one thing led to another by the time she started college she was a heroine addict with an abusive boyfriend who'd she been with for almost four years.
When her friends decided to rob a pharmacy to get a hold of some stuff she didn't know how to get out of it. Since she hadn't actually been in the pharmacy when the cops showed up(and since her mom got a really good lawyer) she just had to got too rehab. She got out after 3 months and was put on house arrest. her mother was able to get her audition at Rosencrantz, and they worked out a deal with the legal system so she could go
PERSONALITY:
Elise super hyper active. She wasn’t ever diagnosed with ADHD, but she certainly has a lot of the symptoms. She always seems to be brimming with energy, even when she acts like she’s tired. That’s why she’s almost always dancing, and when she’s not, she has to find other ways to let it all out.
She likes to be the center, the center of attention, the center of the party, the center of everybody else’s lives. She loves to dominate relationships and social scenes. She’s always looking for a new way to have fun, which means that’s she constantly changing friends and social circles. She’s loud, and she tends to like to get under your skin. She’s one of those people who nobody really likes but everybody hangs around because she can get them places, as long as they don’t piss her off.
She exhibits confidence, but she’s actually really insecure. She has to have the approval of other’s or she can’t function. She practically kills herself she works so hard, but she never thinks she’s good enough. But she never let any of it show, because to do so she would appear weak.
